Celebrating 90 years of Scouting in Stoke

We are a very active mixed troop based in the Stoke area of Plymouth.

The troop was first formed on 10th March 1919, with it's official registration with the Scout Association being in June 1919.

As a troop we believe in putting the 'OUT' back into Scouting.

The section has a very full programme of outdoor activities during the year as well as training evenings and badge work.

Over the last decade we have averaged approx. 40 days of activities each year with about 20 nights away camping, this has included an annual Summer Camp to such places as Snowdonia, Lake District, Black Mountains, Scottish Highlands, The Peak District, Channel Islands, Dartmoor and other UK areas.

The Scout Section is open to both sexes from the ages of 10½ and 14 years, with activities designed to be of interest to all.

New Members are always Welcome
